Our weekend trip was just what we were hoping for, and our stay at Beaconsfield truly ticked all the boxes. We were looking for peace and quiet, and it was absolutely perfect. The setting was relaxing, and everything about our stay made it easy to unwind and enjoy our time away. The only downside for me was the bed 😢 This may just be personal preference, as I’m used to a firmer mattress at home, but the one in the lodge was quite soft. I could feel every single movement from my husband during the night, which made it a bit tricky to get a really good night’s sleep. That said, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a really enjoyable and peaceful stay, and we’d definitely consider visiting again.

Perfect Retreat for Rest and Relaxation. Advice is do your weekly Shopping and take it with you. The Croft Pub & Restuarant onsite provides average priced meals and a good wine selection. We stayed in a 2 bed Lodge with hot tub. For 7 nights. Very modern and had everything you needed. A village shop is around a mile wallk as too the village pub. This is our Second Visit and there will be a third. Always do your research on the site and the area. This Place is adults only.

Excellent weekend break As described in previous all good and worth the moneyJust needs a few things like being able to have more than 2 people in lodge. This was a huge lodge but seemed the rules are very strict on only 2 people staying
