A lovely quirky little cottage, with lots of extra touches that would please all Lord of the rings fans. Also very comfortable and during extremely high temperatures we were very happy to return there each day as the design of Shires End enables the building to stay reasonably cool.

We had a lovely stay at Shires End in celebration of my husband's birthday, despite the rainy weather. We enjoyed the hobbit hole experience, with everything we could have needed being provided (probably the best welcome pack and choice of tea/coffee of anywhere we have stayed). Shires End was a good base for walking, wildlife spotting and visiting Ludlow and the surrounding area. We will definitely recommend Shires End to friends and family.
