Bircher Common is a pretty area of lowland heath in the civil parish of Croft and Yarpole in Herefordshire, owned by the National Trust. It is adjacent to Croft Castle and Croft Ambrey Hill Fort, both also owned by the National Trust, a must-see for history lovers who are eager to tour the various rooms, hallways and chambers of the castle. Here, you can also take a peaceful stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens, enjoy the vibrant flower displays and relax in amongst your picturesque setting. Bircher Common also offers an abundance of wildlife spotting opportunities, where nature enthusiasts can engage in birdwatching or spot a range of animals such as deer, rabbits and many more.
