Guests say

Friary Cottage in Ludlow receives glowing praise for its charming character, spaciousness, and excellent location close to town amenities and transport links. Guests highlight the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, delightful garden, and multiple cosy sitting areas. The hosts are frequently described as friendly and welcoming, with thoughtful touches noted throughout the property. While one review mentions an issue with a shower room macerator and steep stairs, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Multiple reviews describe the cottage as spotless and bathrooms as immaculate, with fresh flowers in every room. Only one review mentions a plumbing issue affecting one shower room, but this did not detract significantly from the overall impression of cleanliness.

The location is repeatedly praised for its convenience to Ludlow's town centre, shops, train station, and local attractions, while still being quiet and peaceful inside and in the garden.

Guests consistently mention comfortable beds, spacious living areas, and a relaxing atmosphere. The cottage suits both families and groups, with plenty of room to gather or find privacy. One review notes steep, uneven stairs, which may be a consideration for some.

The cottage is described as exceptionally well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and offers multiple sitting rooms, a conservatory, a garden, and board games. One recurring issue with a shower room macerator is noted, but otherwise facilities are highly rated.

Guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as tea, coffee, milk, fresh flowers, and helpful information provided by the hosts. Please note that such gifts and extras are mentioned by previous guests but cannot be guaranteed for every stay.
