Ideally set up for your family holiday, the accommodation boasts three bedrooms on the first floor – the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room, the second bedroom has twin beds and the third bedroom is a single, there is also a bathroom on the first floor. Wake up relaxed, as all bedrooms enjoy views over the tranquil garden. The ground floor of Bridge Cottage feels bright and spacious.
Entering through the porch to the hallway, there’s plenty of room to kick off your shoes, from here leads to the rest of the property which offers a dining room, living room, ground floor toilet and utility room. The large living room boasts comfortable sofas, plus an electric wood burner for a little ambience on those cooler evenings. At the other end of the cottage, the well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen is accessed via the dining room. Outside, there’s a beautiful garden to enjoy. With a patio area and lovely lawn, this garden ticks all the boxes. You’ll find shade under trees, sun on the lawn and if you explore the bottom of the garden, you’ll even find the stream running under the cottage’s namesake!

The county is a quintessential English and is surrounded by countryside, with its rolling hills, heritage, and hearty local ciders! We had a wonderful three week stay at the cottage just what we needed after an hectic few months. It had everything that we needed for a home from home would definitely stay again, very relaxing, quiet & peaceful. Lovely welcome pack for us and the dogs.

1. Very narrow approach lane to access the parking area. A car larger than a Renault Captur would have difficulty in parking. A car, e.g. Land-rover Discovery - no chance. No other parking facilities available as the village is surrounded with narrow lanes.2. Lack of saucepans & no mixing bowls.3. Electric cooker is decrepit.4. No large or full-length mirrors in the bedrooms also only one wardrobe for the 3 bedrooms.5. Television isn't easy to use as it is connected to a Sky box, itself connected to the Internet which keeps dropping out. Also no DVD player.6. No books or other reading material available.7. No appliance instruction books.8. According to local villagers, the property is liable to flooding. Proof of this is a dehumidifier stored in the garage.9. No anti-slip mat available for a very slippery bath. Shower over bath not brilliant also water was overshooting the glass panels onto floor.10. No cleaning materials, e.g. for sinks & bath.11. Very poor lighting for reading, no bright central light in living room.12. Very poor mobile telephone signal in the whole area. Vodafone won't work at all.13. Definitely will not re-book.
