The village of Diddlebury sits in the Corve Dale Valley, amidst South Shropshire countryside, 8 miles from Ludlow. Close to the Welsh Marches and with an award-winning pub nearby, this location offers excellent walking and cycling opportunities, and is within easy reach of Wenlock Edge, Clee Hills and Long Mynd Hills, overlooking Church Stretton. Nearby Ludlow, with its listed buildings and medieval streets provides a backdrop for the street markets, held in the shadow of the castle. Ludlow also boasts a number of antique and art shops, restaurants, tea shops, pubs and inns. With Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Hereford all close, as well as the Ironbridge Gorge museums, Severn Valley Railway, Berrington Hall, Stokesay Castle and wonderful Cardingmill Valley, this is a superb destination for a break.
