Sail Loft Annexe in Yarmouth is a cosy and peaceful cottage, highly praised for its superb location near the beach and a friendly cafe. Guests appreciate the quiet setting and the proximity to local attractions. While some maintenance issues are noted, the charm of the property and the helpfulness of the owner contribute to a positive experience, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The property generally maintains good cleanliness, though some guests have mentioned areas that require attention, such as dust under the bed and a sticky stain on the floor. However, these seem to be isolated incidents rather than a common trend.
The location is consistently praised for its proximity to the beach, a delightful cafe, and the town of Yarmouth. The scenic walks and accessibility to local attractions make it a highly desirable spot for holidaymakers.
Guests find the property small but cosy, with some suggesting improvements to the mattress comfort. The peacefulness of the location contributes positively to the overall comfort level.
Facilities are adequate, but several reviews mention the need for maintenance and updating, including issues with the shower temperature, taps, and the need for a cautionary hot water sticker. The presence of a cafe next door is a notable positive aspect.
There is insufficient information regarding the presence of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the owner, so a score cannot be given in this category.

The cold water didn't have much pressure but hot water was hot and constant. Although adequate everything had aged. We were comfortable and warm and had all we needed for the time we were there. It was great to be on the beach with amazing views to enjoy.

Lovely studio apartment. No. 7 faces the hedge on the ground floor which faces the road above (steps up to the road). Superb position. Just a few steps and you are on the beach. (You can't swim due to dangerous undercurrent but you get sea breeze and views). Lots of sail boat contests to watch close up, especially at Fort Victoria next door. Owner a lovely helpful man who answers the phone if you have issues, which we did with the shower. We visited in a heatwave. It's quite a warm apartment anyway being low to ground, behind a hedge. so we were glad we took our tower fan with us, else we wouldn't have survived heatwave in there. Perhaps one could be provided by owner? We would definitely return once the shower is exchanged. Cafe next door is amazing with delightful food & staff. Bus stop at top of road. Might return without car next time as island bus service is incredible. The walk into Yarmouth via coastal psth then road last part is lovely, but takes longer than stated. PS: Fish & Chip shop does delicious gluten free every day.

It suits us as we go out for the day. When we come back we walk round the front and sit there. The Bistro next door offers a good selection of food and drink. We will be returning next year.
