We had a fantastic week in The Old barn. The cottage was well equipped( although we ate out more than we ate in) and was very comfortable for the 4 of us. My husband and I are both in our late 80s and we enjoyed pottering outside the cottage and there was a bench in a lovely peaceful spot where we could sit and while away our time. My son and daughter in-law spent most of their time fishing on the lakes and caught some impressive fish. The whole setting was so peaceful and was much needed by all. Church Stretton was a 10 minute drive away and we spent our time shopping and eating. The food in The King's arms was absolutely delicious and the portions in the Jaipur Lounge were huge, we couldn't manage it all. The owners of The Old Barn were so friendly and attentive, and although the cottage is attached to their property, we barely saw them which left us feeling really private and relaxed. We will definitely be returning to The Old Barn in the future, thank you Gill and Tim.

A lovely week at the Old Barn. Very hot weather so we were grateful for the picnic table and parasol! ☂️ We appreciated the cake and milk on arrival. ice for our drinks. a non slip shower mat. hooks on the bathroom door and my nephew was delighted to see a radio. Thanks to Tom and Gill for their help. I think that they have everything quite right.

Lovelly cottage with every thing we needed for a quiet week away. The owners live next door and are very helpful if you have a quiry. I especially liked watching the House Martins which were nesting in the owners house. There is a nice range of shops in Church Stretton which is less than 10 minutes away in the car.Great scenery and plenty of walks in the area.
