Montgomery and Welshpool are accessible by car, where you can find magnificent Powys Castle Gardens and the Ffridd Faldwyn Iron Age Hillfort - a perfect day out for history buffs. Another fantastic day out can be spent in Ironbridge, where there are 4 museums to be visited, one of which being Blists Hill Victorian Village which is perfect for all the family.
