This landscape of rolling hills and river valleys is perfect for walking, cycling, golf and hang gliding, to mention just a few of the activities on offer. Enjoy many events and festivals celebrating good food, arts and crafts and music in the area. Pop to Bishops Castle or Church Stretton, visit museums and galleries, Acton Scott Working Farm, Stokesay Castle and National Trust s Attingham Park or head to the notable towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury with more independent shops and eateries. Slightly further afield is Ironbridge Gorge, the birthplace of the industrial revolution, and one of the first World Heritage Sites.
