The cottage's location is highly praised for its quietness, beautiful village setting, and proximity to local attractions and walks. The village green and surrounding area are consistently mentioned as highlights, contributing to a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

However, some guests found the beds uncomfortable and the sleeping arrangements cramped, especially when additional items like travel cots were required. The presence of pests also detracted from the comfort for some.

The inconsistency in the provision of these items has been mentioned, but when present, they add a special touch to the stay.

Perfect for 3. Beautifully presented and very clean. Plenty of hot water and an excellent shower. We loved the location. We couldn’t find the pub in walking distance but that didn’t detract from our stay. There wasn’t storage space for food except in the fridge but again that didn’t cause an issue we just used the large window sill. Would recommend if you like a quite spot and village atmosphere. Pretty little garden for sitting out.

There was also some grounds of coffee left in the coffee pot and some of the plates en cutlery we found in the cupboard en drawers were dirty. The towels and bedding were clean, however. We would advise to also keep some dish cloths and a scouring pad in the kitchen as these seemed to be missing. Nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable stay in Honeysuckle cottage

We were two adults and a dog (staying for two nights) and felt the property was a perfect size. The garden and terrace at the back was a good size too - it was enclosed and safe. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed, in addition to extra things like blankets, milk in the fridge, biscuits/tea/coffee, plenty of towels and lovely bed linen. Everything had been well thought out…a real home from home experience! Cottage was easy to find and was situated as described across the village green with a handful of other properties. The cottage was spotlessly clean! The only thing to be aware of, is the driveway at the front of the property is much steeper than it looks so take it very slowly when driving on/off the designated parking bay. We would definitely recommend this property and would consider returning on future trips to the Cotswold area.
