Wren cottage is a great base for walking and local attractions, the cottage is very comfortable and well equipped with great walks from the front door, especially like the steep walk up to Coppet Hill nature reserve directly behind cottage. There is a choice of local pubs within a short drive but most are closed on Monday and best to reserve in advance. The cottage is in a very quiet location and is accessed via a narrow driveway in a wooded lane, great to sit outside on terrace and listen to birdsong in evening. The cottage has limited WiFi but found 5G signal was perfectly ok. Definitely intend to return for another stay.
