Set just outside of the rural village of Kingsland close to the market towns of Leominster, Ludlow and Hereford and is well served with a village shop and pubs. Local attractions are plentiful and range from scenic tours such as the Black and White Village Trail, and the local ruins of a motte and bailey castle, to historic National Trust Berrington Hall, Croft Castle and Brockhampton Estate.
There are activity centres at Oaker Wood Leisure, set just outside the village, and can entertain families and adults alike with paintballing, quad biking and more (please note this is for advanced group bookings only), The Offa’s Dyke Trail on the neighbouring Welsh Borders, Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre, gliding on The Long Mynd in nearby Shropshire, and canoeing on the River Wye.
The property is just a 30-minute drive from the city of Hereford which boasts the famous Mappa Mundi, a cathedral, and the River Wye meanders through, both Hereford city and the nearest town of Leominster which host an array Bars, shops, and restaurants. The property is set on the owner’s farm and enjoys peaceful surroundings with views of the farmland.

We felt priviledged to be able to stay in this beautifully converted building which is full of character but with every modern convenience. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly, the sheep in the field behind the cottage were a constant source of amusement.We had an excellent time visiting Leominster, Ludlow and Hereford, a skirmish into Wales and the delightful Queenswood Arborerum. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful! Jan had thought of everything and much more. The property was unbelievable. Very beautiful and fabulously appointed to the highest level. Highly recommend. Lovely outdoor area. Great for watching the birds both large and small. Fabulous bathroom and en suite. Kitchen well equipped.. couldn't find a single fault! Thank you Jan.
