We had a wonderful stay in Badgers Den. We're a couple with a dog. Husband is a wheelchair user. Tim and Nicky are excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The bed was very comfortable, the power shower excellent and we had the cleanest toilet brush we have ever had in holiday accommodation 🤣. I also found the sofa comfortable. The cooker very efficient. The farm has an enclosed yard for dogs which our dog loved but we also had access to a field and there is plenty of dog walking nearby. The surrounding area is beautiful. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time. It was just my Wife, Myself and our dog Noodles. We just needed a break and this was just the place. Hay on Wye is 4 miles away, and was ideal for a coffee and browsing the book shops. The Pandy Inn in Dorstone was a lovely friendly pub, with excellent food. We also went to The Castlefields pub for Sunday lunch, again the food was excellent.Previous reviews said that there was a problem with car headlights during the night. We were a bit perplexed about this, as there is no chance of headlights shining into the cottage. We have an electric car, and charged up in Hay on Wye. There are slow chargers at Oxford Road car park, and rapid chargers at the Co-Op.
