The cottage lies on the edge of the historic market town of Ledbury, where you will find an excellent choice of amenities offering good local food and warm Herefordshire hospitality within walking distance. Known for its unique black and white timber frame cottages, Ledbury is a fascinating place to visit. Lying on the border of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, this ideal location showcases the region's finest country and wealth of historic towns and villages, including the Malvern Hills, just six miles away, or Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester, 16 miles away. For the best of both worlds, there is a train station a five minute walk away to take a train ride on the direct Worcester and Hereford line to London. Entering the large front porch, you will find plenty of space to store coats and wellies along with a seating area for convenience. Inside you will find a light and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. In the lounge you can snuggle up on the sofa with a glass of wine and a good book or watch a movie on the TV/DVD. If you decide to stay in to cook a meal, there is a large well equipped kitchen including electric oven with hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher, so you don t even need to do the dishes. Along the hallway, you come to two twin bedrooms and a large bathroom with a shower over the bath, washbasin and WC. Heading up the cottage style staircase to the first floor you will find a double bedroom and a second large bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin and WC. From the lounge, you can head out into the private courtyard garden, where you can sit back and relax with a glass of wine and look out over the spectacular farmland landscape.
