The lodge is generally considered comfortable, with some guests finding the beds too soft. The comfort level is subjective and varied among guests.

Such an amazing view. We sadly had the typical rain in the west so couldn’t appreciate sitting outdoors. The lodge is nice, I think ok for 4 adults but if you have 6, you will be cramped. Only 2 sofas and one bathroom. It’s a nice lodge, the best bits are the views. The owners are lovely, were quick to come to the rescue when I got stuck in the bathroom late at night.I do think it could do with an upgrade. The outdoor furniture is tired. The WiFi is terrible, which when the weather is bad and want to stream films is a problem. I would recommend max 4 guests or a family. I think one of their other lodges is newer and more luxurious which I would try.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous four nights away. The view from the lodge was amazing and I never grew tired of looking at it. We went on some walks in the local area from the lodge: to Offa’s Dyke, the monkey puzzle trees and Stanner Rocks. It was an excellent location for all of those. The hot tub was wonderful, definitely needed after a day of walking and the games room provided screen-free entertainment. We loved our time away and are looking forward to returning soon.
