This cottage boasts a stunning living area with a modern fitted kitchen, cosy woodburning stove and underfloor heating with the added benefit of double doors onto the patio area where the distant views can be enjoyed. Just short drives away are the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), the Black Mountains, the historic city of Hereford and the famous literary town of Hay-on-Wye. The games room provided us with a daily table tennis challenge and the patio furniture was ideal for morning coffees. Only downside was the 3/4 mile narrow lane for us nervous drivers! but we found the easier way through Abbeydore - it's longer but more relaxing! The owner was very helpful, friendly and always available for us - 3 nights weren't long enough!

Lovely welcome gifts as well, thank you. Bedrooms all very comfortable and very clean. Every item possible in kitchen we didnât need anything. Living area was perfect for us we were on a girly craft and reading weekend. Great location, we visited Hereford city centre and the famous book town Hay-on-Wye both less than 30mins drive away. We would all love to do the same again next year! The views were amazing, we were very lucky to have beautiful weather while visiting.
