The River Wye (9 miles) offers opportunities for fishing and canoeing, with the Wye Valley National Landscape leading south to the Forest of Dean (20 miles). Other local attractions include Goodrich Castle, Puzzlewood, and the popular book town of Hay-on-Wye (all within 20 miles).
