It is nestled in a wonderful location, set just a half hour drive from the city of Hereford which has a wide range of shops and restaurants. Nearby there are walks aplenty for the more active and many open gardens to explore including Hergest Croft Gardens, set on the outskirts of Kington.
There is also the small breed’s animal park situated just outside Kington town, which younger visitors will be able to enjoy all year round. Kington town also provides guests with pubs and restaurants to enjoy as well as a number of takeaway restaurants if you are looking to enjoy a night in.
The property is also set just 13 miles from the popular town of Hay-on-Wye, which is famous for its many book shops and for its annual Hay Festival, which attracts many visitors including many celebrities faces each year. Set on the border between England and Wales, guests can get to a range of attractions in Wales just a short drive away including the Elan Valley Dams and Rhayader.

Confirmed Guest
This cottage was nice and warm and the chairs and beds very comfortable. As older people we did struggle with the very small upstairs toilet and downstairs shower cubicle. Also because the double bed was against the wall on one side with very little room at the bottom, we had to use the twin beds in the other room.

We had a great weekend stay at Border View. The accommodation was excellent. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The house is well positioned to explore the Wye Valley, Herefordshire and Wales. We look forward to staying there again.
