The Walkers
A beautiful refurbished house on the sea. We had a lovely family stay here. Great location and the house has all the amenities needed. We loved the decor and appreciated the booklets on the bookshelf. We look forward to returning once the games room is finished. Thank you!

The Beach Retreat is a most delightful place to stay. We went in November with my son, sister and her husband. We were offered logs to be delivered pre-arrival, and in fact the fire was lit for us. The decor, furniture and fittings are all very stylish, we had a bathroom each (essential, we wouldn't consider sharing) plus an extra WC. There is an outside shower and tap so that if you had been on the beach with children you could wash off the sand. The weather was dreadful for the first day, but we were so comfortable that we were quite happy to laze around and enjoy the amazing view. I scoured the internet for a property within sight and sound of the sea, and this was it. It would be heaven to stay here at any time of year, there is a downstairs en-suite bedroom, with a little sitting room, and the access to the property is up a slope, not steps. My husband is elderly and my sister is disabled, they brought their mobility scooters and had a race along the promenade!

The house was fantastic, new, highly spec. They had thought about everything and more. Perfect for our family, the 2 children (aged 3 and 6) had their own room which joined ours via a bathroom, then 2 more rooms with their own bathrooms. I must comment on the chairs in the living room, fab, so comfy. The best thing about the house is the view and location. We walked for miles to Torquay, Paignton harbour, Goodrington. We visited Brixham and we walked along the railway at Teignmouth. All in all a fab house, very family orientated. Will return.
