Thanks to its setting high above Brixham’s bustling harbour, the first thing that’ll strike you when you step inside The Seadog is the view. Sink down in the living room’s window seat for a moment or two and watch the fishing boats bobbing on the water below, and the coloured fisherman’s cottages that line the other side of the harbour make a cheerful sight.

If you can peel your gaze from the views, you’ll find a Smart HD TV complete with Freeview, BBC iPlayer and Netflix to help you to unwind after a busy day enjoying the area. There’s even a collection of books and games for those evenings that are about unwinding.

When the sea breeze beckons, step outside to the front terrace and enjoy the feeling of being far from the hustle and bustle of home, and when it’s time to step inside and cook a meal to bring the tastes of the West Country to the group, you’ll find a stylish family dining area that makes it easy to linger over every meal.

Each of the three bedrooms has a contemporary décor and a spacious feel, and each bed has a memory foam mattress so you can sink into bed after a long day of adventures and forget the world. With Brixham’s harbour and town centre within walking distance, you’ll also find Berry Head Country Park via the South West Coast Path, and ferry boats take passengers the short journey across the bay to Torquay throughout the year.

***From 2018, a stay at The Seadog includes the free use of a beach hut on broadsands beach and has tea and coffee facilities inside. There are also deck chairs for all where you can just sit back and enjoy the mood lighting suplied by the sunset.***
North View Road is very narrow and may be difficult to access by car.
