...really enjoyed the trip out to salcombe and Slapton beach. Nice walk to Berry head from Brixham and the hotel there is very walker friendly and serves good food as does rockfish in Brixham. Submitted by Ann on 01/01/2017

...our first time staying in 1 Apters Hill and we found the house was perfect for our requirements. The property is clean, tidy and in excellent condition containing all the required facilities. The property is just two minutes walk from both the harbour and the town centre. ...past 10 days. We had read previous reviews, which were overall very good just with a few comments about Parking. We loved our holiday at Apters Hill, we holiday all over the Globe in 5+ star hotels and this house was sparkly clean, very well equipped, and even more importantly the beds are extremely comfortable and of high quality! The owner Bob, and his family have the little shop at the front of the property and couldn't be more helpful and lovely. Chester, the family dog is adorable! Regarding the comments about parking; it is a small drive space but didn't cause us any issues at all and I drive a 4X4 (Tiguan) so it really isn't an issue. The location is absolutely ideal, just a very short walk to the high street and to the harbour, plenty of shops and restaurants and all within walking distance.
