Southwold is a lovely seaside town and you are less than half a mile's walk from exploring the market, the lighthouse, the beach and Gun Hill, where there used to be a two-gun battery stationed. So, bring your buckets and spades and enjoy some traditional fun paddling in the sea, sampling the local seafood and enjoying an ice cream.
