Sunrise Lodge offers a high level of comfort with an open plan style living accommodation and excellent uninterrupted sea views. Whatever the weather, you can relax and watch the changing weather conditions and spectacular sea-ward views direct from the comfy sofa. The fully fitted kitchen offers a hob, oven, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer. There are two good size bedrooms with walk in wardrobes, the double has an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has two single beds, and the family bathroom has a bath with shower over. A large, enclosed terrace offers wonderful opportunity for al-fresco dining listening to the waves.
There is a path which leads directly down to the beautiful Corton beach. The lodge is situated in the delightful village of Corton, near Lowestoft in Suffolk, the most easterly point in the UK. Surrounded by numerous areas for walking, it is especially popular with those who like to be close to nature. The coastline and award-winning beaches offer an ideal location for a coastal holiday and are pet friendly all year round, and the area is also famous for stunning sunrises, should weather conditions permit.
Inland you are on the doorstep of the southern gateway to the Norfolk Broads National Park and Oulton Broad. Lowestoft has two popular piers, one boasting classic seaside entertainment and the other with an all-year-round restaurant with wonderful views of Lowestoft’s beautiful sandy beach. Pop along to the famous town of Southwold for a tasting session at the Adnams Brewery or catch the foot ferry across to Walberswick. Sunrise Lodge is perfect for making lasting memories.

When we arrived, the lodge had not been cleaned and the beds not changed. I phoned the owner who did apologise and would ask the cleaner to attend. She arrived after 2 hours. We have stayed in many properties for the last 20 years and never had this situation before. Not what we needed after a long drive. Also the wi fi is non existent. The stated network could not be found by two I phones . So why give details of a network that doesn’t exist? Also the outside furniture needs updating. The class on the table was filthy so , unusable. . The location and view are perfect .

Lovely lodge, perfect location for exploring the local area, lots of cupboard space in the kitchen with everything you need. Bedroom wardrobes are huge.If we had been able to sit on the decking the views were wonderful Sky box in the lounge which worked wellThere was a drawer full of leaflets but most of them were over two years oldFew downsides that should be addressed:No WIFII did address this with the reception but was told it was nothing to do with them and they couldn’t helpWindows were very dirtyPatio door sliders (bottom) very dirty On the decking there was a lovely table a chairs but we could not use it as the cushions had been left out and were very very dirty and wet, the table was full of bird poop😔The whole outside was very tired Would I stay here again probably notFor the amount I paid for 4 nights I do not think it was worth the moneyThis could be a lovely lodge and decking but I feel it had been neglected

TV and box difficult to operate and we could find no helpful instructions. Outside furniture poor quality, very rusty. Wifi intermittent and needed constant reconnection. Well equipped with kitchen equipment and utensils.
