Overall the stay was good. Lodge was nice and served a purpose for what we needed. A few down sides: such as no baking trays were found by us and there was pet hair on the furniture. Not too big of a deal though. We would stay again if back in that area as the location is ideal.

The Lodge definitely needs an upgrade, basically clean though. Rust on bottom of bathroom mirrors, chipped plates, insufficient cutlery, flickering light bulb in lounge, lamp plug inaccessible. Musty/fusty smell.Ants on kitchen counter. Very greasy extractor. Dirty windows, marks from previous dogs.Kitchen tap loose, shower controls very stiff.Also there is a footpath opposite the entrance but no dropped kerb and no footpath site side so we were unable to get out with mobility scooter. It was basically adequate.

lovely location to stay at but home sofa's hard and uncomfortable, beds excellent, ceiling lights in lounge flicker constantly and could not use , shower in bathroom too hot and could not adjust stuck control . we will stay there again
