Guests say

Guests have enjoyed their stays at the Stunning Cliff Top, appreciating its spaciousness, well-maintained environment, and proximity to quiet beaches and local attractions. The property offers a peaceful setting with comfortable beds and is pet-friendly, making it ideal for family holidays and quiet breaks.

The property is generally found to be clean, with one review mentioning it as 'stunning place clean and big'. However, some guests noted the presence of leaves and cobwebs outside, and a stain on the carpet, suggesting room for improvement in outdoor and detailed cleaning.

The location is praised for its quiet beach access and suitability as a base for visiting nearby towns. The natural setting and wildlife contribute to a serene experience, although the lack of local shops and facilities nearby is noted.

Guests find the lodge comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, some issues with heating control and sofa comfort were reported, slightly affecting the overall comfort experience.

While the kitchen is well-stocked and the property spacious, guests encountered several maintenance issues such as problems with the internet, TV, oven, shower temperature controls, and a non-functional hoover. These issues indicate a need for better upkeep and facilities management.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews. While some guests missed a welcome pack and instructions, which could be seen as a thoughtful addition, it is not clear if these were expected as gifts or standard provisions, so a score cannot be given.

Took dad for Xmas. He has limited mobility. There are three steps to the veranda which he managed well. Once inside he found the layout easy to negotiate,we were impressed by the space, the layout and the equipment. It was warm and cozy . The beds were really comfy , each bedroom had a walk in wardrobe and one room is en-suite . The site is lovely under a canopy of interesting trees . Apparently the site was once a part of a house belonging to the Coleman’s of Mustard fame and Mrs Coleman loved trees .It’s not far to the village where there is a nice pub but the pavements are bad and there is little street lighting so it was hard for dad’s chair. Undeterred we visited the club on the holiday camp. There’s a massive tesco 5 mins drive away. Short drive to Yarmouth or Lowestoft . A lovely place for a quiet break . We will return !

On the whole we enjoyed our stay at the Lodge, we did encounter a few issues which we didn’t expect, firstly the lodge was bitterly cold when we arrived but after working out the boiler we managed to get the heating on and we soon got cosy.Secondly we noticed a large stain on the carpet but we didn’t let that spoil anything, thirdly there 5 table lamps throughout the lodge but only 2 worked!..Fourthly the shower unit in the en suite was faulty and the temperature was unable to be controlled and the water was very hot and could not be turned cooler!…also in the same en suite there was no plug in the basin so we had to share a plug from the separate shower room!….Lastly the Tap in the kitchen seemed very loose which worried us in case it leaked but we were ok, overall the lodge was a little tired which was a shame as it is in a beautiful setting and we still enjoyed our stay, we would definitely return here if the lodge has these minor repairs rectified!
