Situated on the “Sunrise coast” and with local shops, pubs and eateries, Kessingland is a great location to begin your Suffolk adventure. You can enjoy a hearty meal, check out local produce, or try out fishing, and there is also the fantastic Africa Alive Zoological Reserve housing many amazing animals. Kessingland has excellent beach fishing, as well as pubs, eateries, shops, a tea room, a children's park, and the award-winning attraction Africa Alive. Lowestoft, which is nearby, boasts two piers, a bustling port with a marina and space for larger ships, a golden sandy beach with activities including scuba diving, snorkelling, kiteboarding, and jet skiing, as well as a theatre and a cinema.
