When we arrived there was nobody to be seen. We didn’t receive any key code details from the owners either. We then had to wait until we could get hold of cottages.com as owner phone went to voicemail. We did panic briefly thinking maybe we didn’t have a booking. Eventually got through and were told key code number. Didn’t see anyone the whole week we were there except a farmer dropping off some sheep into the field in front of the property. Property was clean except for a few cobwebs and quite a few spiders over the week!! Eek but apart from that it was warm and comfortable. Welcome pack could have been more useful. Particularly if you are health conscious. Local produce would have been a nice gesture. It’s very out of the way and peaceful if that’s what you are looking for and need to drive to everything.
