The cottage was spacious clean and well equipped. Janet and Brian provided a warm welcome , some treats on arrival and lots of excellent advice about days out, where to eat etc which helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Halesworth centre is close enough to walk to and lovely to explore the independent shops and eateries but the cottage location is quiet and the beds were exceptionally comfy so we slept really well.

We had a lovely week at Stable End - one of the most beautiful and individual places we have stayed. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We loved all the wood in the property. The house is also situated in a very convenient area of Suffolk for us to reach all the holiday days out we wished to visit. Janet was very welcoming and hospitable.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of England. Very good base for exploring Suffolk/Norfolk. The most comfy beds ever! The owners welcomed us with strawberries and cream and a bottle of wine and messaged ahead to ask if we wanted red or white. Lovely! Extremely well equipped kitchen.You do need a car to explore further afield. Halesworth is a pretty little town and is walkable but to really enjoy your holiday, you will want to get out and about and visit the many lovely towns and villages and attractions in this part of the world.
