The quiet country lanes are ideal for walking and cycling, and property is ideally placed to explore the many delights of Norfolk and Suffolk. The market town of Beccles, with its river, pubs, restaurants, delightful shops and station, is just 3 miles. Lowestoft with its sandy beach and promenade, Oulton Broad with its Thursday night speed boat racing, Southwold, famous for its beer and summer theatre, Sutton Hoo (National Trust), Africa Alive and Fritton Countryworld are all within a short drive. Nice place to stay if your looking to explore the surrounding areas. Few small points that let the holiday down. Sheep are literally on the other side of the fence that surrounded 3 sides of the property. This meant there were loads of flies and had to watch our dogs while in the garden incase the ram headbutted them. Cleanliness could have been better.
