Just spent 4 great days at Peacock Lodge. Everything you need is in this wonderful property and we enjoyed the hot tub; even though the sun shone the whole time we were there. Jenny, our host, was such a lovely, friendly person who was on hand if you needed her. The wildlife were amazing, chickens, ducks, rabbits etc. There were also wild peacocks with their babies. Thoroughly recommend and thank you Jenny for the welcome goodies for us and our dog.

Superb lodge with everything you could wish for to have a great time. Hot tub is a lovely bonus, lovely to use anytime of day or evening. The owners are there to offer help and advice which is appreciated. Lovely village pub only a 20 minute stroll away with friendly locals. All in all a great weeks break and we will book again in the future.

Peacock Lodge easily one of the best cottages we have stayed at, lovely property walled garden excellent for dogs very dog friendly overall Recommend this one for sure. why is this not a 5 star review. On the Sunday we came back to find a large noisy party in full swing just yards away. While the owners apologised for the disturbance which we appreciated we would not have booked if we knew we were going to be disturbed.
