Guests say

Peacock Lodge receives glowing praise for its peaceful rural setting, immaculate and comfortable accommodation, and excellent facilities including a popular hot tub. Guests consistently highlight the warm hospitality of the hosts, the abundance of wildlife, and thoughtful touches that make stays memorable. The property is especially appreciated by dog owners and those seeking relaxation, with easy access to local pubs, beaches, and the Broads. While overwhelmingly positive, one review noted a rare disturbance from a nearby event. Overall, the lodge is highly recommended for a tranquil and enjoyable getaway in Norfolk.

Multiple reviews describe the lodge as 'immaculate', 'very clean', and 'pristine', with no negative comments regarding cleanliness. This consistent feedback supports a near-perfect score.

Guests frequently praise the peaceful, rural location, proximity to wildlife, and convenient access to local attractions, beaches, and pubs. One minor mention of a noisy event was the only negative, but this appears to be an isolated incident.

The lodge is repeatedly described as comfortable, cosy, and well-appointed, with guests noting restful stays and excellent amenities for both humans and dogs. No significant comfort issues were raised.

Facilities are highly rated, with the hot tub, well-equipped kitchen, enclosed garden, and dog-friendly features all receiving praise. The only minor note was the time required to heat the hot tub, but this did not detract from overall satisfaction.

Guests often mention thoughtful touches such as welcome baskets, fresh eggs, homemade bread, and dog treats. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Excellent accommodation, finished to such a high standard with everything we could possibly need. Set down a quiet country lane it was ideal for a short get away. Good pub’s within a short drive serving great food. Hosts were lovely with some thoughtful touches such as fresh, free range eggs and home baked bread. The hot tub was superb and very relaxing. We look forward to staying here again soon. We honestly can’t think of anything they could do to improve this .
