    Beccles Holiday Cottages

The market town of Beccles is situated on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, just east of the seaside towns of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. A small-town charm permeates this character location. Known as ‘The Gateway to the Broads’, it’s often the first stop on the journey for those travelling from the south up to Norfolk and Norwich.

Several Beccles holiday cottages have clear lines of sight across to the 16th-century bell tower of St Michael’s Church - a stunning perpendicular Gothic structure. The town centre has a promising mix of high street and independent shops to browse, and many a sunset can be enjoyed from Beccles Quay, sitting at a picnic table or in a pub garden along the River Waveney, watching leisure boats sail northwards to the famous Norfolk Broads.

Snaptrip’s Beccles holiday cottages can be booked quickly and easily online, and, with our Best Price Guarantee, you can rest assured it’s cheap, too. Properties in the area include several pet-friendly holiday cottages (ideally located as this is primarily a rural region), several with hot tubs and almost all with outdoor seating and fire pits to while away those summer evenings.

What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mr Stuart Tomlinson - Verified booking

Very pleasant stay - with quality crockery and extras etc. Only concern is danger of slipping in the shower as there is no internal grip mat and the shower base is smooth. Would have liked option of softer pillows as all were too hard, bedside lamps did not give enough light and lovely though the extra ornaments were - a few too many covering surfaces which were needed for putting things on e.g.in bedroom on top of chest of drawers in front of mirror a big tray was a hinderance! Hopefully feedback is taken as helpful - we really did enjoy or stay and may well be back!!!

    • Dr Hill - Verified booking

A cosy, homely cottage in a quiet location ideal for walks by the river and also near to the centre of Beccles. It was a really good base from which we were able to explore the Suffolk coast and the bus stop which was just five minutes away proved very useful. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

    • Mrs Palmer - Verified booking

Lovely cottage very close to the centre of town, well equipped and provided with instruction manuals for the equipment and information about the town and surrounding area. Beccles is a great place to stay, very dog friendly. We had a little trouble finding the cottage - read the instructions they send and it's easy!

We absolutely love Puddingmoor Cottage. This is our second stay and we wouldn't change a thing. It feels like a home away from home and is in the most perfect position for both relaxing and exploring. Everything is perfect and we would love to know the manufacturer of the really comfortable mattress! We will be back!

    • Mr Bibby - Verified booking

This cottage is an absolute gem. It has been thoughtfully renovated to the highest standard and it’s location down a quiet lane but literally in the middle of such an adorable town, is perfect. Myself, my partner and my 86 year old mother enjoyed a 5 day break here so much, that we really didn’t want to go home!
