Guests say

Copper Cottage receives high praise for its peaceful rural setting, warm and welcoming hosts, and well-equipped, immaculately clean interiors. Guests appreciate the tranquil atmosphere, proximity to local attractions, and thoughtful touches such as homemade treats. While the lack of WiFi and occasional comfort issues with beds and furniture are noted, these are outweighed by the cottage’s charm, cleanliness, and the memorable experiences it offers, especially for families and animal lovers.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as very clean and immaculately presented, with no significant complaints about cleanliness.

The rural location is widely appreciated for its tranquillity and scenic beauty, though a few guests mention the need for a car and distance from shops as minor drawbacks.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable and cosy, especially enjoying the wood burner. Some mention less comfortable beds and living room furniture, and note that very tall guests may find the bathroom a bit restrictive.

The cottage is described as well-equipped with all necessary amenities for a self-catering stay. The absence of WiFi is frequently mentioned, but most guests adapt or find it a refreshing break. Occasional suggestions for minor improvements (e.g., fly spray, rugs) are noted.

Guests frequently mention the warm welcome from the hosts and thoughtful touches such as homemade banana cake and milk on arrival. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

It was a great cottage, very clean and in a lovely quiet location. Being a renovated barn like building, someone very tall might struggle slightly with the bathroom.
