A great location in the heart of Suffolk, Woodbridge is a charming and vibrant market town on the banks of the River Deben. Boasting an array of independent shops, superb pubs and restaurants, the town lies on the edge of an area of outstanding natural beauty, which is ideal for walkers, you are never far from a riverside stroll. Woodbridge is the perfect base from which to explore the Suffolk Coast including Southwold, stroll along the beach and visit the historic pier or Aldeburgh which is renowned for it's fresh seafood. Further a field and a short drive away enjoy the scenery captured by Constable including Flatford Mill, and Dedham Bridge where you can rent a rowing boat for the afternoon and enjoy the picturesque views. Enter this tastefully decorated Grade ll listed cottage, which is set on different levels with varying head heights, to find a spacious open plan kitchen/diner with a table and seating for up to four guests. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, wine fridge, and a washing machine. The lounge area features a comfortable sofa and an armchair that surround the wood burner and Smart TV. Snuggle up with loved ones and watch or stream your favourite show with the Suffolk countryside visible through the patio doors. Head up the cottage style stairs, after a day of exploring, unwind in the upstairs shower room with a large double walk in shower cubicle, which contains a shower and a WC. The first bedroom is a double, and the second has a king size zip and link (can be made into a twin on request). Outside, you can have your morning coffee on the balcony, which has a table with seating for two, or you can walk down the steps to the patio area, which has a table and seating for four, and enjoy some al fresco dining using the BBQ while soaking up the sun. There is no private parking, but public parking is available just outside the property (subject to availability). The window in the king / twin bedroom is a sash window which is very low.. The cottage style stairs are steep and narrow. Regret no children under 7 years of age. The owner is happy to arrange bespoke packages on request (birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations).
