Walberswick is a firm favourite with those looking for a coastal retreat with its sandy beach, great pubs, the picturesque harbour which separates Walberswick from neighbouring Southwold, and being arguably, one of the best crabbing spots around! Pembroke Cottage is ideally located to fully experience all that this seaside village has to offer.
There are two pubs and a café within walking distance from the cottage so you have the option of eating in or dining out. If you’re looking to explore a bit further then we recommend crossing the harbour to neighbouring Southwold via the quirky foot ferry, where you can soak up the vibrance of this popular seaside town and its delightful pier. If it’s the beach you’re after, the sandy stretch of beach and the dunes of Walberswick will not disappoint. Pembroke Cottage is ideally located to enjoy all of this and much more - it is sure to be a cottage you’ll be itching to return to!

The location of the property is fantastic, we did not need to use the car as it is easy to get to the beach, pubs and shops in the village, there is a local Co op, it is a lovely walk to Southwold and you must use the ferry! We recommend The Bell Inn for good food and the local Adnams beers. The property is very well equipped with good quality items and furnishings.This is the second time we have stayed here and we are coming back.

Great place. Great location. Would add, the bushes bordering the drive need to be cut back. Difficult to get out of the car and difficult to stay off the lawn.

Property good. Only issue was no info which rubbish collection or specialist bags left for recycling etc so we didn't know what to leave pit. Also no bags for linen and towels. Also I asked a couple of questions via chat before our stay and was advised an email answer would be sent but it never was
