Guests say

The Coach House is a charming and spacious cottage in a peaceful rural setting, ideal for those seeking relaxation, wildlife, and scenic walks. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, unique vintage decor, and well-equipped facilities. The grounds and woodland walks are a highlight, especially for dog owners. While the location is tranquil, amenities require a short drive, and some guests note the bed could be larger and the lack of WiFi may not suit everyone. Overall, it offers a delightful countryside escape with thoughtful touches and a welcoming atmosphere.

Multiple reviews describe the property as very clean and well maintained, with no significant complaints about cleanliness.

The rural, secluded location is highly praised for its tranquillity, wildlife, and access to woodland walks. Some mention the proximity to the A12 as convenient, though a few note the need to drive for amenities and occasional road noise.

Guests find the cottage spacious, cosy, and relaxing, with underfloor heating and a log burner. However, several reviews mention the double bed is small and could be upgraded for better comfort.

The cottage is well equipped with quality kitchen and bathroom facilities, and unique decor. Some guests mention missing plates on arrival and the lack of WiFi as drawbacks, but overall facilities are rated highly.

Guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates, as well as the owner's friendly welcome. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

We enjoyed staying at the coach house, weather very hot so not out and about much but chilled out watching the wildlife and walking the dog around the private wood. The house was very quirky lots of original features and items around, owner was very nice. Well placed for Southwold Aldbourgh and nice beach at dunwich and sizewell beach which funny enough was empty! All good.Negative- you can hear the A12 .

A return visit after 7 years of absence.Expected some changes ie bed, bedding etc for larger comfortable one.The sitting room could also do with some comfortable furniture to sit on too.The Coach House is in a lovely spot but could really do with some updates on the comfort front. Therefore my recommendation would be a bit tongue in cheek.

Beautiful location. All you hear is birdsong and the wildlife. If you want a relaxed, peaceful and calm holiday. I would highly recommend. The accommodation is lovely. It has been renovated in keeping with it's original use and where possible original items have been retained.Just be aware that WiFi is a little bit on the slow side.
