Guests say

Guests have praised '3 The Almshouse' for its stylish decor, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen. The garden is a suntrap, frequented by wildlife, and the property is well-situated for exploring Suffolk. Some guests suggested minor improvements, but overall experiences were very positive.

The cottage received high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'very clean and well maintained'. No negative comments about cleanliness were noted.

The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to Suffolk attractions. The designated parking space was a plus, although one guest suggested better lighting in the parking area.

The comfort of the beds and furnishings was frequently mentioned, though the presence of low beams caused discomfort for taller guests. The issue with heating mentioned by one guest suggests a slight deduction in this category.

Facilities are generally praised, including the kitchen and bathroom. However, suggestions for additional bathroom hooks, better instructions for the TV, and a more responsive service during a heating issue indicate room for improvement.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

We enjoyed our visits from the village Peacocks too! The village is well positioned between Southwold and Aldeburgh for exploring the area with some great dog friendly pubs close by for dining out, local produce is delicious. Highly recommended.

Would be helpful to have a guide on how the tv works. A couple of hooks in the bathroom would also be helpful. Otherwise very well equipped and located.

  • Barbara

It was well equipped. We would love to return at some point
