With over 100 different types of boats to hire and take out on 40 acres of water, there are a number of tourist attractions and beautiful photo opportunities, and no booking is needed! Carry on with your water theme and a mere 250 yards away will take you to Thorpeness Beach, a beautiful shingle beach where you can meander down to the sea and view both Aldeburgh and Dunwich. With colourful cottages backing the beach, it truly is representative of a typical traditional seaside postcard. Or, if you prefer to dine out, a 5-minute drive will take you to the seaside town of Aldeburgh, with a number of eateries and bars dotted close by to the beach.

For nature enthusiasts, there are a number of nature reserves, bird-watching opportunities and hiking areas in the area, such as Reedbed East bird-watching area along with Reedbed Loop hiking area just next door. History buffs will love Leiston Abbey, with its impressive 14th-century remains of an abbey located just 4½ miles away.
