The sitting room is vast with feature bi-folding doors opening onto a fantastic outside terrace offering stunning views over the surrounding meadows and estuary. The ample seating area helps to create a really sociable zone with the addition of a flat-screen TV for guests’ entertainment. The open-plan kitchen/diner is a superb space with a fabulous U-shaped kitchen fully fitted with integrated appliances and ensuring the designated chef has everything required to produce healthy and hearty food for the whole party. When the food is ready to be served, take a seat at the elegant dining table, all set up ready for long, lazy meals and with bi-folding doors to the side, giving visitors another opportunity to appreciate those breath-taking views. If the Suffolk sun is shining down, then step onto the outside terrace which also has a large table and chairs and provides the perfect spot for drinking and dining alfresco. The enclosed gardens are great for kids to run around in safely and the terrace is the ideal place to pull up a chair with a glass of your favourite tipple and watch them while you relax and soak up the sublime views in peace. The bedrooms are all situated on the lower-ground-floor and offer a truly chilled out ambience and with three bathrooms there will never be a queue for the bathroom! Whilst it could be tempting to hunker down and never leave the house, it would be a shame not to get out and about exploring. Marsh Harrier is a great base from which to discover the delights of Suffolk. Walk into Aldeburgh and check out its great selection of shops and amenities, stroll along the beach and track down the infamous brightly-coloured beach huts for which the town is known. If you want to travel a little further afield then hop in the car and head along the coast north to Southwold and Thorpeness or south to Orford, all delightful seaside towns with plenty of sights and attractions. Head inland to places such as Framlingham Castle, Helmingham Hall and Open Gardens, Shawsgate Vineyard, the English Whiskey Company, Adnams Brewery and Go Ape Thetford. All along the coast there are opportunities for fantastic walks, cycle rides, golf and watersports with some incredible views to be had anywhere within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Superbly located and wonderfully presented, a break at Marsh Harrier will be a break to remember.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
