Lower score for cleanliness. The house needs to be given a thorough clean, new carpets and internal painting and all plumbing and appliances checked. Not up to the usual standards we have come to expect. Nothing that spoilt our holiday at all, but for nearly £900 a week, expected a higher standard.

The property was well equipped in the kitchen and pleasant downstairs, however several light bulbs had blown and the dining room had very poor lighting - just one small wall light. Considering this is where guests will eat meals it is not really good enough. The bedrooms and bathrooms in the property looked very tired and had a "student" accommodation feel. The could all do with a good clean of skirtings, carpets etc and a good paint. The building itself was a wonderful property full of character and a great place to stay. It just needed a little bit more TLC.

Warm lovely spacious house in an excellent location. The top end TV has numerous facilities for the technically savvy. Wangford village has a brilliant friendly local shop, and Southwold beach etc is just a few minutes drive away.
