This charming, first floor holiday apartment, is ideal for couples, located in a prime location in a quiet street of the charming and fashionable seaside town of Aldeburgh. Close to the high street with its attractive Georgian buildings with independent shops, galleries and restaurants which are just a short walk away. Visit the hilltop church where the famous composer Benjamin Britten is buried and a tribute to him stands on the lovely pebble beach, with its fishermen’s huts selling the daily catch. A wide promenade runs alongside the beach and has many attractions including The Moot Hall and lookout towers. The town holds several festivals including Aldeburgh Music Festival in June, Food and Drink Festival in September and also a Literary Festival. The Aldeburgh Town Marsh Trail enjoys views of Cob Island where cormorants nest and the town marshes with their many dykes, and winter home to swans and geese.

Just a few miles away is Thorpeness Mere with 60 acres and with a boating lake and dinghies, punts and rowboats can be hired. A little further afield are the remains of Leiston Abbey, dating back to the 12th century, you can still see the sacristy, chapter house and warming room, along with the north transept and crossing tower. The railway station is just 6 miles away at Saxmundham with good links to Ipswich and beyond. Relax and enjoy the beauty of the enchanting Suffolk coast with its miles of sandy beaches and cliff top walks. For golf enthusiasts a golf course is nearby. Shop, pub, and restaurant 400 yards.
