This delightful, mid-terrace cottage sits in the heart of the coastal town of Aldeburgh, just paces from the beach. Aldeburgh Cottage successfully combines contemporary luxury with period features and is superbly placed for enjoying all that this coastal location has to offer, with many walks starting from outside your door; making for the ideal holiday home for a family of four. Discover the kitchen/diner, boasting a farmhouse style with handmade units, a pine table and four chairs, a charming Suffolk brick floor, butler sink and a wealth of appliances to assist with home-cooking. Carry the conversation into the lounge, home to a leather sofa and two armchairs, this is a delightful place to sit back and reflect upon the day, or search the flat-screen TV for some light entertainment. A small lobby between the kitchen and bathroom leads out to a private back patio garden with table and chairs, ideal for enjoying some alfresco dining on a warm evening. As the night rolls in, retreat back inside to the upstairs; the first bedroom offers a plush double bed and pretty white-washed floorboards, along with a contemporary en-suite shower room for your convenience! The second bedroom plays host to a twin and a pretty window overlooking the patio garden, ideal for the little ones, served by a family bathroom with double-ended bath, great for relaxing in with a glass of wine or two! Get to know your surroundings better by wandering along the beautiful River Alde Walk via the designated footpath, which is located only a few hundred meters away. Aldeburgh itself offers a great range of shops, pubs and well-established restaurants, as well as seafront huts selling freshly caught fish! The neighbouring village of Thorpeness is worth a visit with its boating lake, providing plenty of fun for the children and young adults alike! Take the scenic drive over to Snape Maltings and catch a live performance at the world-famous concert hall, or pop on your walking boots and meander through the RSPB Minsmere, a beautiful nature reserve with so much scenery. Aldeburgh cottage provides a sumptuous place to call home while exploring the coast and country of Suffolk, whatever time of year.
