"Fabulous cottage, everything there that you would need. Clean and well maintained."
"We had not realized the cottage was so remote. Charming but not really suitable for the elderly. Stairs steep and slippery. Side of bath was so high it was difficult to step into. Directions to the cottage only given from Stowmarket from the north and not through Hadleigh from the south. It would be helpful if they were to include 'adjacent/next door to Kimbrose which is very clearly identified. Excellent file with instructions for all the electrical equipment, but nothing indicating best shopping area for provisions (Hadleigh has a Morrisons) or pubs or medical emergency services. Otherwise an enjoyable holiday and the cottage was certainly most attractive."
"An excellent stay in a lovely cottage."
"A lovely cottage with great outdoor space for the children."
"Very, very good cottage and would definitely want to stay there again"
"We have stayed in premium cottages all over the UK and we have not had bad accommodation in any in this price range. However, Magnolia Cottage is the best we have ever stayed in ....Superb in every way, the owners are to be congratulated."
"We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in this cosy cottage. It is immaculate in its cleanliness and is beautifully furnished and has a high standard of appliances."

"Lovely cottage very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed sitting by the wood burner in the evening"
"We really enjoyed our stay at Magnolia Cottage. The cottage was well equipped and had everything that we could have wanted to make our week's holiday cosy and comfortable. The WiFi was an added bonus. It was relatively easy as a base from which to explore RSPB Minsmere, Constable Country, National Trust places at Melford Hall, Ickworth Hall & Lavenham. We were also able to get out and about with walks in the beautiful Suffolk Countryside. We would definitely recommend Magnolia Cottage."
"WE have visited this lovely cottage twice now and we will probably go back again. It was well presented and of a very high standard we loved it."
"We have stayed in cottages the length and breadth of East Anglia and this is certainly one of the best appointed and maintained. Lots of positives -- outdoor space, lots of mods cons, newish bathroom. Negatives? Other reviewers have spoken about the fast road: there's a noticeable rush hour but it seemed pretty quiet to us, and we're from a rural Midlands location. Neighbours were quiet too. As a couple we found the space was more than adequate and didn't use one of the rooms. If we were to visit the area again we'd certainly book Magnolia Cottage."
"Absolutely fantastic holiday cottage. Furnished to a very high standard with a huge amount of thought given to including everything needed"
"Great cottage, well maintained and equipped. Excellent wifi"
"Loved the cottage, great location for us and wonderful enclosed garden for little ones to have a run around in. Clean and warm with comfortable beds. Great weekend had by all"
"Fantastic holiday and a super cottage. Very comfortable, clean and really well equipped and appointed for self-catering. Great outside space and local wildlife. Well located for exploring Suffolk and further afield with local amenities within a reasonable distance. The only downside is the occasional noise from the road as motorists drive past very quickly, even at night."
"This was a beautifully presented cottage. Nice, clean and comfortable with very good facilities. The one drawback my parents found were the stairs - the tread is quite short and this coupled with the steepness of a cottage staircase made coming downstairs a bit tricky. Other than this it is a lovely cottage with very polite and nice neighbours."

"Hard to find. Not clearly marked & directions to cottage poor. Much closer to dangerous road than indicated with blind egress. That said we were looking for a remote & reasonably priced rental in that immediate area & this worked for us."
"We had a lovely stay in magnolia cottage. The house was charming and cosy, well-equipped and very clean. Wifi was rather a godsend as we had no mobile reception! Lots of wildlife around too, which was lovely to see - great views from upstairs over the fields. Would definitely recommend the cottage to a couple, or a small family, wishing to get away into "the sticks" for a break."
"Showers had too less 'power'.Overall the cottage is clean except the dishes."
"We have stayed at numerous holiday cottages in this country and abroad and this one of the best four we have ever used."
"Beautiful cottage very sensitively restored. Owners had thought of everything unlike others places we have stayed in. Quite expensive for two people but worth it. Location is a few miles from good places to eat out at night so we tended to eat in."
"A great cottage, one of the best we've ever had, the location was quiet and peaceful and the cottage itself was just super."
"Though remote, it provided an ideal base to explore the SW part of Suffolk. Renovated by the owner great care had been to retain original features and to ensure a high level of comfort and convenience. The positioning of the TV was slightly awkward."
"Lovely comfortable well equiped cottage situated in a pretty part of Suffolk ."
"We really enjoyed our third stay at Magnolia Cottage. The cottage is very well appointed and caters for our every need. The weather was fantastic which was a bonus."
"The cottage was beautiful, couldn't have asked for a better place to relax for 4nights. Was lovely having the open fire and the cottage had everything we needed. There was a pub a short walk away and they had nice food and pool table. Great place for exploring all the little towns and the coast. Would definitely recommend and return again one day. "
"Well presented and a helpful welcome basket. "
"Great cottage. Great facilities and fantastic location. Could do with wifi as signal not great although was also nice to be uncontactable for a change."
"overall a lovely and comfortable cottage and we had a good week here over Christmas.Woodburner a bit smoky - and (not the owner's fault) some neighbours cat uses the gravel drive as a toilet, so we had to watch our feet a bit! But there's not a lot you can do about cats."
"Another very enjoyable holiday in this first class cottage. This was our second visit and we will return again in 2015"
"A wonderful cottage full of character and immaculately furnished and equipped. Thank you for the welcome pack.Lovely having the wood burner to come home to on blustery wet days. A real home from home. As mentioned before phone and internet coverage not good, but only really matters should an emergency arise. There was quite a lot of traffic noise, for a country lane especially in the early morning, but then again are used to no traffic noise where we live at home. However we would return again to visit this lovely area. Thank you Kaye and David. "
"A very well presented and equipped cottage. We had a very pleasant week there and would definitely book again."
"The cottage was down a country lane, which must have been a shortcut for locals as it was busy from early morning to late at night, and noisy, making it difficult to sleep. Also when booking I was aware there was no WIFI but thought this wouldn't be a problem but there was also very poor mobile coverage, which made communications very difficult."
"Beautiful cottage, if anything the pictures did not do it justice. We thought it was perfect and would highly recommend it to anybody."

"The cottage overall was comfortable, welcoming and warm. Not too far from the local pub which served good food. Lovely walking area and picturesque villages like Lavenham a short trip away or if you fancy a larger town to shop Bury St. Edmunds and Ipswich not too far either. Could have done with another week! Dec 2012."

"Lovely, cosy cottage. Peaceful setting. Good, comfortable beds (most important). Good location for visiting surrounding areas of interest. Excellent dining within five miles. Would be happy to book this cottage again. Oct 2012."

"The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard and is located in a lovely rural setting. The gardens are ideal for alfresco dining (weather permitting) for food a six mile journey to Onehouse and the Shepherd & Dog is well worth the drive, excellent food and very friendly staff. Sept 2011."

"Excellent, clean and with modern equipment throughout. A very quiet place away from noise and other disturbance. We enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and meadow. There is an airfield nearby but apart from the odd helicopter it was not a problem at all. August 2011."
    Previous guest
"Magnolia Cottage had been refurbished to a very high standard. A lot of original features remained. The kitchen was modern and beautifully appointed. The bathroom clean, bright and modern. The towels and bedlinen were of high quality. I would not hesitate to go back because it was so clean. The garden and meadow were a decent size as well. We ate outside most evenings as the weather was perfect. June 2011. "

"Magnolia Cottage is a beautiful property - a proper little bolt-hole in a lovely rural part of Suffolk. It’s in a great location for the coast, countryside and National Trust properties across the region. It’s well appointed, relaxed and the perfect size for 2 or 4. April 2011."
    Previous guest
"The cottage was ideally located and comfortably and had everything you wanted for your stay. We would recommend this cottage and would stay there again. March 2011."

"The property was just what we wanted - of the highest class in all respects from location right through to presentation and cleanliness. March 2011."
    Previous guest
"It is an old property which has been refurbished to a high standard, respecting and retaining its original features. Very clean and well equipped. There is a good central heating system, but we also enjoyed the wood burning fire. It feels like a real home, not like a ’holiday let’. Oct 2010. "
