Located on the edge of the award winning village of Hoxne, you can enjoy a beautiful holiday setting where time seems to stand still as you allow yourself to unwind and let go of any worries or stresses. Styled for comfort, it offers an open plan concept layout to maximise space and create a seamless flow between rooms, imparting a sense of airiness which provides a calming and inviting atmosphere. The windows allow natural light to flood in and provide connection to the picturesque countryside.
The Little Barn nestles in the owners’ grounds (who are on hand and happy to assist) but retains privacy. To the rear of the barn is a small woodland with a walkway and a small basketball court with hoop for endless entertainment and opportunities for skill development.
The village of Hoxne, 5 minutes’ drive (2 miles) has a pub with restaurant, a village post office, deli and shop. Country walks are available all around and the Suffolk heritage coastline has fabulous beaches to enjoy. Explore Southwold, a fantastic seaside town with pier, historic lighthouse and high street lined with independent shops and boutiques. RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath offer opportunities for spotting birds and connecting with wildlife, with excellent walks available. For a quieter sandy beach, head to Covehithe, and for great days out, visit Snape Maltings, Framlingham Castle, Eye Castle, Halesworth Museum, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens and Easton Farm Park.
The vibrant market towns of Bungay and Beccles boast independent boutiques and chain shops and the weekly market is excellent for all things local. At Beccles there is an open air heated outdoor swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers and gateway to the famous Norfolk Broads National Park. The surrounding area offers an excellent collection of eateries, including fine dining to many cafés serving home-made cakes and savouries to delight many palates. Beach 28 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

A fabulous find. Ideal for two as it is small but perfect. Everything was first class and comfortable. Caren and Guy, the owners were very welcoming, without being intrusive. Would highly recommend this little hideaway

We have just spent four wonderful nights at "The Little Barn". As we arrived and drove up, we visualised what we had booked and it was that picture postcard moment. Absolutely beautiful, and it just kept getting better and better. Inside the barn is very well appointed with all that we needed to have a relaxing perfect break.Outside was fabulous too. The front fenced lawned garden with seperate decking space and furniture - The basketball court (made an old man happy) - The private intimate woodland space (just for us and the pooch) was second to none.The owners Caron & Guy were so welcoming and clearly very proud of what they have offered their guests. We felt very reassured that if we needed anything, just to knock at the main house. Other than that, we were left to enjoy this wonderful setting.We have found our little gem in Suffolk, and will definitely return

The moment we arrived at The Little Barn, we knew we were in for a wonderful holiday. The gardens are absolutely stunning, so much room for our dog to play, plus a lovely little woodland walk around the property and even a basketball net if we felt particularly energetic! The Barn was immaculate with every possible piece of equipment we could need...fridge, coffee maker, tv, toaster etc.There was a lovely welcome hamper, fresh milk in the fridge, and even chocolates placed on the pillows for us.This is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed, and we wouldn't hesitate go back.The owners were very friendly and available if needed, but left us to do our own thing.Thank you Caron and Guy for a 5 star holiday.
