Blackwell Barn is located in the pretty Suffolk village of Raydon, with a local village community and on the edge of Dedham Vale an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for walkers, with ancient woodland and walk along former railways, all easily accessible from Blackwell Barn. Located just 2 miles from Hadleigh and conveniently close to the A12, Raydon is famous for its WW2 military airfield and historic link to the American air base with several original buildings still in use as workshops. If you can drag yourself away from Blackwell Barn, you’ll find a convenience store, pub and restaurant at East Berghot, fine dining under a mile away at Layham and plenty of places to explore in the local area. Manningtree station is a short drive away on the main line connecting Norwich and Harwich with London Liverpool Street. Beach 21 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 2 miles.

This was our fourth visit and its perfect for us, we have visited local places of interest and now like to just relax, my Wife does her jigsaw and i like to read the daily paper and my Kindle for my books.Balackwell Barn is spotless, comfy and all mod cons in the kitchen, oh and a digital tv for your needs as and when.We have booked already for 2026, can't wait!!
