We’ve had a lovely holiday thank you, and enjoyed staying at The Cart Lodge. We were blessed with sunny weather which enhanced our break. My reasons for giving less than a glowing report are 3 things: -1. We were plagued by dozens of houseflies. These got on our food, in our hair and on our skin. We think that you are aware of this problem because there’s a flyswat in the house. In the end we had to find a B&Q to buy fly spray and fly papers, which considerably improved matters. 2. The courtyard outside the front door is very untidy and unkempt I’m afraid, which discourages sitting out there. 3. The curtain tie bracket in the bedroom is coming away from the wall. I hope that these constructive criticisms are helpful to you. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, despite these drawbacks. Thank you very much. Best Regards,Andrew

Lovely setting next to the golf course.Very peaceful. The Lodge was comfortable but the dining chairs were very heavy and solid wood so extremely uncomfortable and difficult to move.
