Long Melford is a truly charming village that has an array of independent shops, galleries, antique centres, tea rooms, pubs, and restaurants, as well as plenty of scenic countryside walks close by. Take a day trip to the Heritage Coast, with beautiful seaside towns such as Southwold, Dunwich, Walberswick, and Aldeburgh to explore, and an array of historic, cultural, and culinary delights. The historic market town of Colchester and the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds are just a short drive away, as is the historic buildings, Kentwell Hall and the National Trust Melford Hall. A little further afield is Thetford Forest where thrill seekers will find high wire experiences along with stunning walking and cycling tracks, along with Newmarket racecourse which is a good day out. As you enter this property you arrive in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner where before proceeding you can kick off those walking boots and make yourself feel at home. The spacious rear enclosed garden area is accessed through the French doors in the lounge and here you have a lawned area and a patio area with a table and chairs for you to enjoy some al fresco style dining or a drink or two whilst you soak up some sun. There is private off road parking for up to two cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin zip and link (which can be made up as a king size on request). 2 bathrooms 2 en suite bathrooms with shower over the bath and WC.
