Originally one of the 19th century farm buildings for the 14th century Suffolk Hall House, a working farm for hundreds of years, Stable Cottage has been sympathetically renovated, creating a warm welcome to its guests. The accommodation within includes a well-equipped, open-plan kitchen and dining area, a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove, a joy to return to in the winter months. Exposed timbers throughout the property give natural character and high ceilings create a sense of space, light and air.
You have use of a small private patio and garden area, whilst also sharing the outdoor, heated swimming pool with The Old Barn. There are paths around the fields which are now home to thoroughbred mares and a small herd of pedigree Hereford cattle, and you are able to walk along the picturesque river bank or head out on a public footpath away from the far end of the property.
For larger groups, The Old Barn can be booked, subject to availability, accommodating seven guests.
