Stable Cottage sits in the grounds of Dove House, which is a fine example of a 14th Century Suffolk Hall House. There has been a working farm on the site for hundreds of years and the owners now have a small herd of pedigree Hereford cattle and thoroughbred broodmares grazing the pastureland. Stable Cottage was originally part of the 19th Century farm buildings which have now been sympathetically converted.

This lovely cottage has all ground floor accommodation with high ceilings to give a light and airy feel. There is a well-equipped kitchen and dining space, whilst the sitting room has a wood burning stove, making it a cosy room to return to after a day out exploring the countryside in the colder months.

In addition to the shared use of the swimming pool, there is a private garden area if you fancy a barbecue or a little more privacy. The surrounding countryside sits in the Brett Valley and there are beautiful walks from the cottage. You are able to walk around the livestock fields and down to the river and there is a public footpath at the far end of the parkland.
