This single-storey delightful barn conversion is situated in the Brett Valley and has access to a fabulous, heated outdoor swimming pool. A wonderful base for four guests to explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside.

Located in the grounds of Dove House, a fine example of a 14th century Suffolk Hall House, where there has been a working farm for hundreds of years. Stable Cottage was originally part of the 19th century farm buildings which have now been sympathetically converted.

This charming cottage provides a warm welcome and includes a well-equipped, open-plan kitchen and dining area, a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove, a joy to return to in the winter months. Exposed timbers throughout the property give natural character and high ceilings create a sense of space, light and air.

You have use of a small private patio and garden area, whilst also sharing the outdoor, heated swimming pool with The Old Barn. There are paths around the fields which are now home to thoroughbred mares and a small herd of pedigree Hereford cattle, and you are able to walk along the picturesque river bank or head out on a public footpath away from the far end of the property.

For a larger group, Stable Cottage is also available to book for six guests, with use of a further king-size bedroom. For larger groups, The Old Barn can be booked, subject to availability, accommodating seven guests.
