Guests say

Leveret Lodge is a peaceful and relaxing cottage in a rural setting, ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, tranquillity, and helpfulness of the host. While some find the kitchen facilities and comfort could be improved, the lodge offers a welcoming stay with beautiful views and ample walking opportunities.

The majority of guests have praised the cleanliness of the property, describing it as 'exceptionally clean' and 'spotlessly clean', indicating high standards of hygiene and upkeep.

The location is highly regarded for its rural charm and proximity to walking routes and beautiful scenery. However, it may not be suitable for those with disabilities due to access issues to the upper floor.

Comfort receives mixed reviews; some guests find the lodge peaceful with great views, while others mention an uncomfortable mattress protector and thin pillows. The preference for larger beds is noted.

Facilities are adequate for basic needs, but some guests have suggested improvements in kitchen equipment and maintenance issues like flooring and mould. The compact kitchen space is also noted.

While a welcome pack is mentioned positively, there is insufficient information to assess overall thoughtfulness consistently. It should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

Unfortunately more budget than luxury and whilst this was reflected in the price, it wasn't for us as there were too many negatives. It had the feel of a student flat with a blown window in the bedroom, mould on the shower seal, flooring not cut to size in places leaving gaps, an uncomfortable waterproof mattress protector, very thin pillows and mismatched cutlery. The very compact kitchen meant it was a real squeeze to access the fridge.

We had Great stay here. So peaceful and great views. So many walks that we didn't manage to do all of them. Exceptionally clean and loads of storage. Kitchen is adequate for basic cooking but we ate out most days as there are many places to do this. I would have loved a king-size bed rather than a double but that's because I'm now used to a super king and find doubles very small. Easy to park and well sign posted from the road.
